FAQ

What are the cancellation and refund conditions?

In the event of weather constraints, we will postpone your flight, internship day or snake gliss activity to a later date depending on your availability. Unfortunately, if the weather prevents Mountain Attitude from offering you your activity while your voucher or stay is valid, you can choose between a voucher valid for one year or a refund. However, Mountain Attitude will not be responsible if you are not available on the proposed dates.

Why doesn't vertigo exist in paragliding?

Vertigo, the illusion that the environment is spinning or that you are going to fall, is surprisingly uncommon in paragliding for the majority of people. The main reason lies in the lack of close and fixed visual reference points. At altitude, far from the ground and from immediate objects, your brain has fewer elements to interpret a relative movement that could induce this sensation of rotation. Your broad field of vision, embracing the horizon, also helps maintain your spatial orientation.

In addition, a typical paragliding flight is characterized by smooth and progressive movements, which are less likely to disturb the delicate mechanisms of the inner ear, the main seat of our balance. The concentration of pilots and passengers on the landscape and the sensations of the flight also tends to distract attention from potential signals of imbalance.

Can children play Snake Gliss?

The Snake Gliss is accessible From the age of 6.

Do I need a helmet?

Wearing a helmet is obligatory for all our activities except the helicopter:

  • While paragliding: The helmet is yours supplied.
  • In snake luge: The helmet is also obligatory, but he is not provided. Remember to bring your own!

Am I going to fly independently?

Yes, that is the end goal! We will guide you step by step towards autonomy in complete safety. Our coaching adapts to your level to help you progress, with personalized debriefings after each flight.

What should I bring for my internship?

For your comfort and safety, remember to bring the following items:

  • Of high-top shoes
  • One windbreaker jacket
  • One water bottle
  • a lunch but we will stop at a bakery.

All the rest of the equipment will be provided to you on site.

Will I really make progress even if the conditions are not perfect?

Yes, absolutely! Each session is an opportunity for improvement. Even if the flight is not long, you will work on specific technical points, analyze your previous flights and refine your weather choices. No day is lost: each outing contributes to your evolution.

Does the Snake Luge go fast?

En Snake Luge, you are very close to the ground. It is this proximity that gives a lightning-fast printing, although in reality, our pace does not exceed that of an intermediate skier.

Can you fly at the same time as your friends or family?

Absolutely! Our pilots will accompany you, and you can fly up to 8 people at the same time on the same schedule.

From what age can we fly?

Children can fly from the age of 5 if they really want to and without being forced to. However, if a child refuses to fly at the last moment, reimbursement will not be possible.

For education, the minimum age is 12.

Do I have to buy a lift pass for paragliding?

In winter, a ski pass is not necessary, but a pedestrian pass is essential to take the lifts. You can buy it at the cash register or online.

In summer, the price of your flight includes the pedestrian pass.

Can you take off on foot, skis or snowboard

In summer, all takeoffs are done on foot. In winter, taking off on skis or snowboards is recommended, but it is possible on foot with the agreement of our team.
